Mr. Billy Dave “Bo” Davis also known as “Sarge”, age 92, of League City, formerly of Pittsburg, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 in League City, Texas. He was born October 7, 1931 to George William and Esther Elizabeth Maxey Davis in Pittsburg.
Memorial service for Mollye Sue Taggart Lunsford, 75, of Pittsburg, will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 6, 2024, at First United Methodist Church with Reverend Jeff Dungan officiating. She passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024, in a Tyler hospice.
Mrs. Dorothy Sue Smith, 85, of Pittsburg, Texas, died at her home surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, November 16, 2023. She was born on January 14, 1938, in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, to Don Gilbert and Flossie Pauline Blevins. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pittsburg. Sue graduated from Pittsburg High School in 1956, attended East Texas State University and North Texas State University, and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Sue married her high school classmate, Kenneth Smith, on June 27, 1959. Sue and Kenneth own Smith Properties, Pittsburg, Texas. She retired from Smith Properties, where she worked as the property manager. Sue and Kenneth also held and operated the W. L. Garrett & Sons department store.
