“Dear Pirate Family, It is with great sadness to inform you that our dear friend and colleague Maudie Watson passed away this afternoon from her recent illness. Ms. Watson was a valued member of our Pittsburg ISD family and will be greatly missed. She touched so many lives in our district with her faith and gentle kindness. We are grateful to have been blessed by her in so many ways, most of all as a cherished friend. Please join us in expressing our condolences, thoughts and prayers to her family.”
